The workshop dedicated to fibres and yarns for the furnishing and decoration markets is helding its 5th edition. As demonstrated by the four previous editions, its comprehensive and specific offer is fitted to attract the attention of MoOD exhibitors and visitors. The variety, the high technological content and the added value of the yarns and fibres presented at Expofil Déco have been considered as important assets by professionals active in all sectors of the home textile industry, from household linen to the contract markets.
This year the event welcomes 9 exhibitors presenting their collections that feature :
• chenille yarns in natural and synthetic fibres
• fancy yarns: slubbed, knopped, bouclette,…
• semi-worsted, worsted and open-end cotton yarns
• worsted and woollen yarns, yarns of natural fibres
• pure and blended linen yarns
• textured, twisted, covered yarns
• acrylic fibres and dope dyed polyester filament yarns
• technical yarns : high density, flame-retardant, etc. for interior and outdoor
Key products of spinners and fibre producers are displayed on the special Trend Forum located at the heart of Expofil Déco. The products proposed by the exhibitors and selected by the Première Vision Expofil fashion team give visitors a concrete idea of the forthcoming directions and technologies. Over the years, this forum has grown to be particularly appreciated by spinners as a tool for promoting their innovations and welcomed by visitors who can find valuable information to help them prepare their collections.
Expofil Déco is now located in the southern part of Hall 6, next to MoOD trends and service area. This is a perfectly suited location for the spinners’ event, within the vicinity of the zone featuring MoOD trends sample bank showing inspirations for 2011/12 on the Re-naissance theme and near the “Innovative Sample Bank”. This location should allow a better flow of visitors between both shows during the three days.
